Abdul
Abdul is a Black man who came to the UK as a refugee in his late teens and is now preparing to leave the care system.
Daisy
Daisy is a Black British woman in her early twenties currently working toward a degree. Daisy’s experience of care was unusual as she entered the care system in her late teenage years.
Dan
Elijah
Elijah is a trans man in his mid-twenties currently studying towards a degree. He entered care as a teenager and despite experiencing years of instability, he is still living in emergency accommodation.
Hope
Hope is a Hungarian/Welsh and English woman in her mid-twenties, who is studying for her degree. She also works part-time in education.
Jordan
Jordan is a White British man in his early twenties, who spent most of his life in the care system. He has a degree and is now working part time in social care.
Laks
Laks is an Indian/White British woman in her early twenties. She is currently studying for a degree.
Richie
Richie is a White British Male in his early twenties. Richie spent many years in the care system and experienced a very difficult transition to independence.
Winta
Winta came to the UK in her late teens, as an asylum seeker from East Africa. She is preparing to leave the care system and go to university.
