Care leavers’ transitions to independence

Chereece is a White British woman in her early twenties. She is educated to GCSE level and now works part-time in the Civil Service.   

Claire is a White British woman in her early twenties who is currently working towards her degree.  

Marie is a White British woman in her early twenties. She is currently working full-time after finishing a degree.  

Richie is a White British Male in his early twenties. Richie spent many years in the care system and experienced a very difficult transition to independence.
