Jennifer, aged 74, is a retired GP and has lived in a retirement village for 9 years. She is widowed and has three children who live in various countries around the world. Jennifer lives with dementia and has written a book about her experiences.

Sinclair, aged 92, is a retired RAF officer and his wife Audrey was a sonographer before having their three children. He and Audrey self-fund care in a residential nursing home run by the British Legion for ex-servicemen and servicewomen. Ethnic background: White British.
